Ukrainian company MHP (Myronivsky Hliboproduct), owned by Yuriy Kosyuk, has become the majority owner of one of the largest Spanish poultry producers Uvesa.

It is noted that the deal began on March 20, when MHP acquired 41% of Uvesa shares. Within a month, the company signed additional agreements on similar terms with other shareholders, which increased its stake to 91.77%.
The purchase price is reported to be 225 euros per share, with provision for a possible additional consideration of up to 21.43 euros per share if certain conditions are met after the deal is finalized. The payment will be made in cash and backed by a bank guarantee.
It is also noted that a concentration authorization from the European Commission is required to finalize the transaction.
