The results of the "Land Bank" show that state land is in demand among agrarians, who compete for the right to lease it regardless of the size of the plot. The offer of sublease has activated the market. This was reported by Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food Vitaliy Koval, Dengi.ua .

According to him, demand is stably high in all segments by the size of land plots:

  • up to 10 hectares - on average 3.2 offers per lot;
  • 10-50 ha - 7 offers/lot;
  • 50-100 hectares - 8.1 offers/lot;
  • 100-200 ha - 7.4 offers/lot;
  • 200-500 ha - 7.5 offers/lot;
  • 500-1000 ha - 12 offers/lot;
  • over 1000 ha - 6 offers/lot.

"Competition gives the effect: the average cost of sublease amounted to UAH 21,500 per hectare, and in some segments the price grew to over UAH 30 thousand/ha. And this is only part of the effect. Each hectare that goes into circulation, triggers the economy: cultivation of products, payment of taxes, minimum tax liability, employment in communities", - emphasized Koval.
