While Ukrainian farmers are losing crops and land because of the war, Russia is making money on their labor by selling stolen wheat to dozens of countries around the world. This is reported by Dengi.ua with reference to the National Resistance Center ( CNS ).
It is noted that the occupiers have turned the stolen Ukrainian grain into a global business. The so-called "Russian" wheat is bought by 70 countries, including Egypt, Turkey and Iran.
"In the new season, the Kremlin again seeks to retain market primacy at the expense of the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine. This large-scale grain looting is a crime for which all those involved, from officials to international mediators, will be held accountable," the report said.
According to the CNS, about 2.5 million tons of wheat of the new harvest has already been exported to Russia from the temporarily occupied areas of Donetsk, Luhansk, Zaporizhzhya and Kherson regions.
