Ukraine set a five-year record for egg exports in March 2026. As reported by the Union of Poultry Farmers of Ukraine, citing customs statistics, 216.2 million units were supplied to foreign markets in a single month. This was reported by Dengi.ua .

Compared to February of this year, export volumes rose by 23%, while year-on-year growth reached 25%.

Notably, revenue growth significantly outpaced volume increases. In monetary terms, March exports reached $24 million, representing a 57% surge compared to the same period last year.

The Union of Poultry Farmers of Ukraine noted that during the first quarter of 2026, 579.5 million eggs worth $66 million were shipped to foreign markets.

While physical exports for the quarter increased by 17%, export revenues soared by 74% compared to Q1 2025.

The European Union remained the primary destination for Ukrainian products between January and March, accounting for 74% of total exports. The largest individual markets included:

  • Spain (26.1%)
  • Great Britain (13.1%)
  • Poland (11.7%)
  • Israel (8.3%).
