As of May 11, Ukraine has recorded a decrease in the export of grain and leguminous crops for the 2025/26 marketing year. Total export volumes reached 31.141 million tons, which is 6.012 million tons (19.3%) less than during the same period in the previous season. This was reported by Dengi.ua, citing data from AgroTimes.

Wheat exports reached 11.613 million tons, representing a decline of 2.884 million tons (24.8%) compared to last year's figures.

Shipments of other key crops also showed a downward trend:

  • Barley: Supplies to foreign markets totaled 1.467 million tons, a significant 56.1% decrease year-on-year.
  • Rye: Ukraine exported a marginal 0.2 thousand tons.
  • Corn: Export volumes reached 17.621 million tons, down by 2.187 million tons (12.4%) compared to the previous year.

In addition to raw grain, Ukraine exported 55.1 thousand tons of flour (equivalent to 73.5 thousand tons of grain). This is 7.2 thousand tons (13%) less than the volume recorded a year earlier.
