According to the KMIS survey, more than 33% of Ukrainians are ready to reconsider their intention to leave Ukraine if they can earn a decent income here. This is reported by CASE Ukraine , write Dengi.ua .
62.5% of respondents said that they would stay in Ukraine no matter what, even without special economic prospects. At the same time, 33.8% said that they were ready to stay in Ukraine if they could earn a decent income and maintain a high standard of living.
At the same time, only 2.3% of respondents do not plan to stay in Ukraine even if economic conditions improve.
"Thus the total number of those who are ready to stay in Ukraine in any conditions, summed up with those who will stay under favorable economic conditions, is 96.3%," - stated in the message.
Ukrainians under 30 are most interested in economic opportunities: 54.5% of them are ready to stay in Ukraine on condition of decent earnings. Economic prospects attract men (37.2%) more than women (31.0%).
Regionally, the highest level of motivation to stay with a decent income was recorded in the East (38.8%), slightly lower in the Center (34.7%), South (32.6%) and West (31.2%) of the country.
The study was conducted by the Kyiv International Institute of Sociology from May 15 to June 3, 2025. On the basis of random sampling of cell phone numbers 2004 respondents were interviewed.
