Part of the additional capacity will be offered already during the monthly auction for July 2025, which will be held on June 16.
It is noted that the GTS operators held a series of technical negotiations and studies aimed at identifying potential options to provide additional capacity for gas transportation to Ukraine. As a result, it was possible to reach the above-mentioned agreement.
"This is an important decision, as the Polish route is one of the most important directions of gas imports to Ukraine. The role of this route will only grow, because the gas transportation system of Poland provides access to diversified sources of natural gas, in particular liquefied gas from around the world", - commented the Minister of energy German Galushchenko.
