Within the framework of the audit of criminal proceedings against business, the prosecutor's office closed about 7 thousand cases, which is more than 30% of the total number. This is reported by Dengi.ua with reference to post Prosecutor-General Ruslan Kravchenko.

He noted that in another 1,894 criminal proceedings their fate will be decided after the completion of expert examinations of physical evidence. Also Ruslan Kravchenko said that the audit of criminal cases against businesses will continue and announced its interim results, namely:

  • 6752 criminal proceedings have been closed. This is more than 30% of the total number (20000);
  • 164 proceedings were sent to court;
  • 821 proceedings - expert examinations have been appointed;
  • in 144 proceedings suspicion was reported.

In addition, he reported on decisions on property issues, in particular:

  • 211 cases - property has already been returned to the legal owners;
  • 2538 expert examinations on seized property have been appointed.
