The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has launched a grant program for scaling up the production of explosives within the framework of the defense tech-cluster Brave1. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Defense, write Dengi.ua .

"We will activate the participation of the private sector in innovative defense developments. With grant funds, companies will be able to create or expand production facilities, purchase components, systems and other means for the production of explosives," Defense Minister Denis Shmygal said.

He noted that the program provides for clear transparent tender procedures, quality expertise and product testing.

In general, the Brave1 cluster has already issued about 560 grants for more than UAH 2.2 billion.

"We continue this work. We give a new impetus to the development of infrastructure of domestic production of ammunition for the Defense Forces and see business as one of the drivers of this process," - added Shmygal.
