In July 2025, Ukraine exported goods to foreign markets for more than $3.3 billion, which is $167.8 million (5.4%) more than in June. In total for 7 months of this year Ukrainian exports of goods amounted to more than $23 billion. The European Union remains a key trading partner. This is reported by Dengi.ua with reference to press service of the Ministry of Economy, Environment and Agriculture.
It is noted that agricultural and food industry goods remain Ukraine's main export item. In July, they reached $1.7 billion, which is more than half of total exports. A significant share of exports are iron ore, certain types of engineering and metallurgy products.
In terms of volume, Ukraine exported 8.2 million tons of goods in July, among which 3.5 million tons are agricultural products. In addition, compared to June, physical volumes of transportation by sea and road transport increased (+7.1% and +4.4%, respectively), but the transportation of goods by rail decreased (-1.5%).
According to the Ministry, Ukraine exported the most in July by value:
- sunflower oil ($537.9 million or 464,000 tons);
- iron ores and concentrates ($190.1 million or 3.0 million tons);
- wheat ($159.0 million or 732.8 thousand tons);
- soybeans ($151.0 million or 375.2 thousand tons);
- corn ($145.0 million or 617.7 thousand tons);
- insulated wires ($108.2 million or 5.8 thousand tons);
- poultry meat ($96.5 million or 34.1 thousand tons).
At the same time, the EU remains Ukraine's main trade partner. In July, $1.9 bln worth of goods were exported to the EU countries (+10.1% compared to June this year). Poland ($405.9m), the Netherlands ($201.8m), Germany ($199.8m), Spain ($161.4m) and Italy ($142.5m) were the biggest buyers of Ukrainian products.
As for other countries of the world, the largest consumers of Ukrainian exports are China ($212.4m), Turkey ($149.2m), India ($140.8m), Egypt ($110.9m) and Moldova ($100.3m).
