The State Statistics Committee of Ukraine has reminded Ukrainians that during martial law in Ukraine there are special rules governing the duration of working hours and the procedure for granting rest. About it write Dengi.ua with reference "Judicial-Legal Newspaper".

It is noted that according to the clarification of the State Labor Code, at enterprises of critical infrastructure, the normal duration of working time can be increased to 60 hours per week, while wages should be accrued in proportion to the increase in hours of work.

It is reported that for employees employed at the same facilities, but with reduced working hours, is set up to 40 hours per week, also with a corresponding increase in pay. The start and end times of shifts are determined by the employer.

While previously employees were guaranteed at least 42 hours of uninterrupted weekly rest, under martial law this figure may be reduced to 24 hours.

In addition, the following are temporarily canceled:

  • prohibition on working on weekends;
  • a reduced working day before holidays and weekends;
  • postponement of weekends if a holiday or non-working day coincides with a weekend;
  • restrictions on involvement in overtime work.
