Oleksiy Martynov, co-founder of the "Privat" group, has accused his former partners Ihor Kolomoisky and Hennadiy Boholyubov of laundering UAH 5 billion through a charitable fund. Martynov posted the accusation on Facebook.
He claimed his partners used the charitable foundation of a religious organization in Dnipro, where they were co-founders, to launder money stolen from the state.
“I’ve become aware of a bold fraudulent scheme that my dishonest partners Boholyubov and Kolomoisky carried out for several years. They used a religious charity fund in Dnipro, where they were co-founders, to launder funds stolen from the state. Over UAH 5 billion has been laundered through this fund,” Martynov stated.
He called on law enforcement to urgently investigate and legally assess the situation.
