From July 1, 2025 in Ukraine will begin to operate European approaches to the definition of quality parameters of power supply, in particular, the transition to nominal voltage 230/400 V.
This was reported by the press service of the National Commission carrying out state regulation in the field of energy and public utilities (NKREKP).
The regulator noted that one of the key innovations is the establishment of clear boundaries of permissible voltage deviation: from 207 to 253 V (±10% of the nominal value of 230 V).
"These changes are expected to have a positive impact on the quality of power supply. Stable voltage will reduce the risk of damage to household appliances sensitive to fluctuations, as well as reduce the need for additional means of protection, such as stabilizers," the report said.
The NKREKP added that it will also lead to increased energy efficiency: electrical appliances will be able to operate in an optimal mode, without overloads and power losses.
on April 15, the regulator adopted a resolution "On approval of amendments to the Code of distribution systems", which, in particular, specifies the provisions for the introduction of new values of voltage levels in connection with the entry into force of the national standard DSTU EN 50160:2023, harmonized with the European.
