The National Bank of Ukraine will transfer to the State Budget of Ukraine from its profits for last year more than 84 billion hryvnias. The press service of the regulator informed about it.
At the end of 2024, the profit before distribution of the National Bank amounted to 102.7 billion UAH. This amount will be traditionally partially directed to the general reserves of the NBU until they reach the level of 10% of the average annual volume of monetary liabilities of the National Bank (UAH 18.5 billion).
The remaining UAH 84.2 billion will be directed to the state budget after agreeing the terms with the Ministry of Finance.
"This year the National Bank will transfer over UAH 84 billion to the State Budget of Ukraine ... this is the largest amount that the NBU has ever transferred to the budget", - said the head of the National Bank Andriy Pyshnyy.
It is noted that on April 18, the Council of the National Bank approved the Consolidated Financial Statements of the regulator for 2024, taking into account the received report of the independent auditor.
