449 billion UAH for the army and 213 billion UAH for state payments: where does the budget money go?

In the first four months of 2025, the state budget spent UAH 1.2 trillion on priority expenditures. This is stated by press service of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine with reference to the words of Denys Shmygal, according to Dengi.ua .

Prime Minister noted that almost UAH 449 billion went to finance the needs of the Defense Forces. In particular, more than 365 billion hryvnias were allocated for military salaries, and about 84 billion - for the purchase of equipment, weapons, ammunition, food.

Denys Shmygal also said that in the first 4 months of 2025, more than UAH 50 billion from the state budget was allocated for the Medical Guarantee Program of the National Health Service of Ukraine (NHSU). At the same time, about 213 billion UAH is allocated for state payments, as well as 54 billion UAH to support communities.
