As of August 1, 2025, the total amount of deposits of individuals, including individual entrepreneurs, in banks of Ukraine amounted to UAH 1,482.6 billion, which is by UAH 3.9 billion more than in the previous month. This was reported by Dengi.ua with reference to data of the Fund for Guaranteeing Deposits of Individuals (FGVFL).
Of the total amount of deposits of individuals as of August 1, 2025:
- deposits in national currency - 959.7 billion UAH (-0.2 billion UAH for July 2025);
- deposits in foreign currency - UAH 522.9 billion (+4.2 billion UAH for July 2025).
The share of FLP in the structure of depositors as of August 1, 2025 amounted to 3.2%, and in the structure of the amount of deposits - 11.3%. The amount of their deposits amounted to UAH 167.7 billion. Deposits of individual entrepreneurs fall under the guarantees of the Fund for Guaranteeing Deposits of Individuals.
According to the Fund, the largest share (50.79% of the total amount) are deposits from UAH 600,000. However, the majority of Ukrainians (56.99% of the number of depositors) have bank deposits from 10 to 200 000 UAH.
