According to information of the AFU Air Force, on the night of September 7, Russia carried out a combined attack on Ukraine by 823 means of air attack:
- 810 Shahed strike UAVs and simulator drones of various types;
- 9 Iskander-K cruise missiles;
- 4 Iskander-M/KN-23 ballistic missiles.
According to information from open sources, Shahed-136/131 attack drones cost about $20-50 thousand per unit. Accordingly, on average, one such Shahed costs Russia about $35,000. Military experts note that half of the drones launched may be cheap imitation drones. Therefore, if all 810 Shaheds were combat drones, Russia could spend $28.3 million on them. If 50% were cheap imitator drones, the amount drops to $14.1 million. As a result, the total cost of the launched UAVs may vary between $14.1 million and $28.3 million.
The cost of one Iskander-K cruise missile is about $1 million, so 9 launched ones cost Russia $9 million. Iskander-M/KN-23 ballistic missile costs about $3 million - $12 million for 4 used ones. Thus, taking into account the above calculations, we can assume that for the last combined attack on Ukraine, the Russian Federation spent about $35.1-49.3 million. The team of Dengi.ua sincerely sympathizes with all the victims, their families and friends.
