The Ministry of Defense is scaling the DOT-Chain Defense platform - a marketplace that simplifies and speeds up arms deliveries for 130 brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). About this reported Dengi.ua .

It is noted that DOT-Chain Defense allows units to independently order exactly the weapons they need at the front and receive them quickly. The entire bureaucracy is taken care of by the Defense Procurement Agency (DPA) of the Defense Ministry.

It is reported that in October, 130 brigades will have access to the marketplace: 12 brigades that took part in the pilot launch, and another 118 brigades in different parts of the front. At the same time, additional UAH 1.5 billion have been allocated for scaling, which the General Staff will distribute among the brigades. Corresponding changes with budget reallocation and increase in the number of military units have been made to the List and volumes.

"DOT-Chain Defense is an example of effective transformation of provision during war. During the two months of the pilot, the platform has already confirmed its effectiveness: the average delivery time of drones has been reduced from months to 10 days," stressed Oksana Ferchuk, Deputy Minister of Defense for Digital Development, Digital Transformation and Digitalization.

It is also noted that FPV drones, "bombers" and airplane-type drones are available on the platform. Gradually, other types of UAVs, UAVs, NRCs, REB/ERR complexes and dropships will be added.

"DOT-Chain Defense simplifies the provision of drones to brigades. With a few clicks on the online store, the military orders the required kill vehicle and has it on the frontline within two weeks. Scaling up to 130 brigades means that even more units will be able to receive drones quickly for specific combat missions. The AOZ team is also working on expanding the range of products in the marketplace," said AOZ Director Arsen Zhumadilov.

Thus, in plans to develop the platform will add new functions, namely:

  • "Drone Designer" will allow the military to customize drone configurations for specific combat tasks and the situation at the front. It is scheduled to be launched by the end of the year.
  • A service call for online consultations, which will allow for prompt technical support.
  • Rating system, which will allow you to leave ratings and feedback on the products received and the experience of use.
