According to the Prosecutor General's Office, for eight months of 2025, 168 criminal proceedings on raiding were opened in Ukraine, which is 36% less than in the same period last year. 80% of cases relate to forgery of documents. This is reported by "Opendatabot" , reports Dengi.ua .
If in 2024 an average of 33 cases were opened every month, this year only 21. In total for 4 years the number of raiding cases has decreased by 3.4 times.
The absolute majority of proceedings are cases of document forgery (Article 205-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). This year 134 such cases were opened or 80% of the total number. Suspicion was served in less than half of cases (62), and only 40% (53) were sent to court.
For countering economic activity (Article 206 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine) 23 proceedings were registered - 42% less than last year. However, not a single suspicion was served and not a single case went to court.
It is noted that even fewer cases were opened for unlawful seizure of company property (Art. 206-2) - only 11, which is more than twice less than last year. Suspicion was served in only one case, and not a single case reached the court.
At the same time, the Office for Counteraction to Raiding, where victims address with relevant complaints, has considered 830 appeals for the same period. However, this is also 40% less than last year.
The most frequent complaints related to real estate - 676 (81%), another 154 cases were related to business. There are 43% fewer complaints about unlawful possession of real estate this year, but there are 15% fewer complaints about business.
While businesses filed the majority of complaints in 2024, the situation is different this year. In 2025, half of the complaints were filed by people (411). Companies appealed 232 times (28%), local authorities - 162 (20%). The rest of the complaints were filed by state bodies and subjects of registration.
Analysts added that the vast majority of complaints (818 out of 830) were considered collegially. Of these, 247 were satisfied (30%), 243 were rejected (30%), and another 328 were left without consideration (40%). 10 complaints on business and 2 on real estate were satisfied by single decisions this year.
