As of February 2026, the number of Ukrainian men aged 18 to 64 residing in 27 EU countries with temporary protection status has reached approximately 1.042 million. This represents a 15.6% increase compared to February 2025. This data was reported by Dengi.ua , referencing an infographic published by "Slovo I Dilo".

It is noted that the largest number of Ukrainians with temporary protection is recorded in Poland (512,200), Germany (312,200 thousand) and the Czech Republic (129,300 thousand). he next group includes Romania and Spain, hosting 71,100 and 63,500 men, respectively. The top ten is rounded out by the Netherlands, Slovakia, Ireland, Norway (a non-EU member), and Bulgaria, where the population of Ukrainian men ranges from 24,900 to 35,800.

Belgium, Austria, and Finland host 22,400, 20,700, and 20,100 Ukrainian men, respectively. In Switzerland (non-EU), as well as in Sweden, Portugal, Denmark, France, Italy, Lithuania, and Latvia, the number of Ukrainian men ranges between 10,300 and 16,000.

The lowest numbers of men under temporary protection were recorded in Estonia, Hungary, Greece, Croatia, Cyprus, Slovenia, Luxembourg, Malta, and Liechtenstein (non-EU).

Statistics indicate that in almost all the aforementioned countries, the number of Ukrainian men increased over the year from February 2025 to February 2026. Growth rates varied significantly, ranging from 4% to 45%. France and Latvia were the only exceptions, where the number of Ukrainian men with temporary protection status did not follow this upward trend.
