The Verkhovna Rada Committee on Finance, Tax and Customs Policy has recommended that two bills amending the Customs and Tax Codes be adopted as a basis and as a whole.

This was reported by Dengi.ua , citing post of MP Danylo Hetmantsev in his TG-channel.

The head of the Committee wrote that we are talking about two bills, namely:

  • Bill N13305 on amendments to the Customs Code of Ukraine on exemption from import duty taxation of goods imported into the customs territory of Ukraine for the needs of security and defense, and the elimination of technical inconsistencies.
  • Bill N13306 on amendments to subsection 2 of section XX "Transitional Provisions" of the Tax Code of Ukraine on exemption from value added taxation of operations on importation into the customs territory of Ukraine of goods for security and defense.

"These legislative initiatives provide for exemption from customs taxation of fiber optics for the production of drones, which will provide favorable conditions for the development and production of unmanned systems using optical cable for control and video signal transmission necessary for the defense of Ukraine," - said Danylo Hetmantsev.
