For 9 months of 2025 international non-resident companies providing electronic services to individuals on the customs territory of Ukraine, paid 10.6 billion UAH of the so-called "tax on Google". This was reported by acting head of the State Tax Service Lesya Karnaukh, write Dengi.ua .
"We fix positive dynamics compared to the corresponding period of 2024: the number of registered payers increased by 13 people, the amount of tax liabilities increased by UAH 2.5 billion," - she said.
The largest payers this year are Apple, Google, Valve, Meta, Sony, Etsy, Netflix, Wargaming, Bolt, OpenAI, Ebay, etc.
In total, since January 1, 2022, 141 VAT payers among non-resident persons providing electronic services to individuals have been registered in Ukraine.
It is noted that the obligation to register arises if during the last 12 months the total amount of supply exceeds UAH 1 million.
