Ukrainian exports of grain and leguminous crops this year fell 4 times compared to the same period last year. This is reported by Dengi.ua with reference to data of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy.
Thus, according to information, as of July 14, exports from Ukraine of cereals and legumes (with their processed products) in 2025/2026 MY (marketing year), amounted to only 486 thousand / 0.486 million tons, which is 1510 thousand / 1.51 million tons less than in 2024/2025 MY (1996 thousand / 1.996 million tons)
In particular, the volumes of exported crops amounted to:
- Wheat - 172 thousand tons vs. 732 thousand tons of the previous year (minus 560 thousand tons)
- Barley - 2/254 (- 252)
- Rye - 0,0/0,3 (- 0,3)
- Corn - 309/1000 (-691)
As you can see from the data, rye has yet to be exported at all this marketing year, and the largest percentage reduction in exports was for barley at 99.2% and the smallest for corn at 69.1%.
