According to the State Customs Service, in January-June 2025, exports of Ukrainian sunflower oil amounted to 2.407 million tons, while the revenue amounted to $2.77 billion. The main buyers of Ukrainian sunflower oil in January-June this year were Spain and Italy, which accounted for 12.88% and 12.18% of exports, respectively, and India - with a share of 11.77%. These countries spent $356.945 million, $337.494 million and $326.071 million respectively to purchase sunflower oil from Ukraine.
At the same time, rapeseed oil exports decreased in this period compared to January-June 2024 by 3.6 times, to 19.992 million tons, accordingly, the revenue was 2.9 times less and amounted to $58.015 million.
The main buyers of Ukrainian rapeseed oil were the Netherlands, which accounted for 39.29% of the exported volume, which brought Ukraine $7.750 million, Germany - 21.44% and $4.23 million, Slovakia - 13.13% and $2.591 million respectively.
At the same time, Ukraine this year increased exports of soybean oil by 52% in the first half of the year against 287.052 million tons a year ago and doubled revenue to $295.034 million. Among the most active buyers of Ukrainian soybean oil were Poland - 63.97% of exports for $188.736 million, India - 9.02% for $26.616 million, Germany - 4.04% for $11.925 million.
