It is noted that the company is already working on a strategy to restore air traffic with Ukraine. First of all, it is planned to resume regular flights from Warsaw to Kyiv and Lviv.
In the future, the network of routes may be extended to other regional airports in Ukraine, provided that their infrastructure is restored. The possibility of launching flights from Polish regions to Ukraine is also being considered.
For Ukrainian routes LOT plans to use four modern Boeing 737 MAX 8 airplanes for 186 passengers. According to the company's estimates, the total annual passenger traffic on flights between Ukraine and Poland may reach 800 thousand people.
A significant part of demand, as LOT expects, will be provided thanks to the Ukrainian diaspora in Poland, the number of which exceeds 1.5 million people.
