4 working days instead of 5: what Ukrainian business thinks about it

Representatives of business in Ukraine support the transition to a 4-day working week while maintaining 40 hours worked. This was reported by the press service of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, reported Dengi.ua .

"The results of the survey of support for the transition to a 4-day working week (40 hours) with the consent of the employer and employees show that a significant majority of businesses (58%) predominantly positive attitude to such an innovation", - stated in the message.

So, the answers to the question about support for a 4-day working week (40 hours) with the consent of the employer and employees were distributed as follows:

  • 31% - yes, will have a positive impact on productivity;
  • 27% - rather support it, but without reducing wages;
  • 16% - neutral, business should decide for itself;
  • 13% - rather against, the economy needs maximum employment;
  • 13% - no, not advisable due to military and economic realities.
