The Ministry of Economy, Environment and Agriculture has approved 150m hryvnias to compensate 25 percent of the cost of Ukrainian agricultural machinery at the request of agrarians in June. This is reported by Dengi.ua with reference to press service of the ministry.
The Ministry of Economy approved a new distribution of funds under the program of compensation of 25% of the cost of Ukrainian agricultural machinery and equipment. In June, 412 agricultural producers applied for compensation for the cost of 888 units of agricultural machinery and equipment totaling more than UAH 719 million. Compensation from the state amounted to 149.98 million UAH.
"June became one of the most active months in the program: more than 400 agricultural enterprises applied for compensation for 888 units of machinery. And this means additional orders for machine-building plants, and consequently, new jobs and at the same time more modern equipment for agrarians. The additional UAH 700 million allocated by the government in July will allow to finance 3 thousand more applications", - commented the Minister of Economy, Environment and Agriculture Oleksiy Sobolev.
Compensation for the reporting month was charged for the products of more than 120 Ukrainian machine-building enterprises, the products of which are included in the official list of the Ministry of Economy. These are both large plants and medium and small manufacturers from all over Ukraine.
Among the items: tractors, trailers of different models, transportation equipment, tillage equipment, equipment for sprinkler and irrigation irrigation and many others.
In total for 7 months of the current stage of the program (according to the terms it starts in December), 4284 units of Ukrainian agricultural machinery and equipment worth more than 3 billion UAH (including VAT) were purchased. The state paid almost 642 million UAH of compensation.
Compensation of 25% of the cost (excluding VAT) is provided for agricultural machinery and equipment with at least 60% of the Ukrainian component. There are special conditions for certain categories: combines, tractors, self-propelled sprayers and grain trucks.
The list of agricultural machinery and equipment with a confirmed level of localization is published on the website of the Ministry of Economy. As of August, the list contains 13,807 technical names from 157 manufacturers.
