According to the Unified State Register, for 8 months of 2025, 7988 companies relocated across Ukraine. A total of 8345 times Ukrainian businesses moved across the country this year, which is almost the same as last year and even 10% less than in 2021. Most often move companies operating in the field of trade: in fact, it is every third business of all those who moved across the country. Businesses in construction (6%), agriculture (5%) and real estate (5%) also move frequently.
Most businesses move by route to and from Kyiv. The main directions of business relocation remain the routes between Kyiv and the regions. The most popular were moves from the capital to Kyiv region (494 companies), to Dnipropetrovsk region (379), as well as in the opposite direction: from Kyiv region to the capital (378). 358 companies moved to Kharkiv region from Kyiv, while from Dnipropetrovsk region to the capital - 336.
It is noted that Kharkiv region is in the lead this year. Thus, more businesses moved to the frontline region than left it: +374 companies this year. A similar picture in Zaporizhzhya (276), Lviv (161), Zakarpattya (83) and Kyiv (77) regions.
In the capital the opposite trend is observed: 657 more companies left than arrived. Next are Dnipropetrovsk region (-102), Donetsk region (-97), Volyn region (-83) and Poltava region (-62).
In general, the most business left the capital - 2909 companies, which is 36% of the total number. Among other donor regions analysts noted Dnipropetrovsk (824 companies), Kyiv (770), Odesa (507) and Lviv (451) regions.
At the same time, Kyiv remains the main destination where business is moving to: 2252 companies have chosen it as their new place of work. Then come Kyiv region (847), Kharkiv region (742), Dnipropetrovsk region (722) and Lviv region (613).
