The construction of a modern Feednova Center plant has started in Zvenigorod community of Cherkassy region. The enterprise will become one of the largest producers of high-protein feed additives and animal fats in Ukraine. This is reported by Dengi.ua with reference to press service of the Ministry of Economy.

According to the agency, the total cost of investment is UAH 649.8 million (about EUR 14.4 million).

"The ceremony of laying the first stone of the future Feednova Center plant took place in Zvenigorod community of Cherkassy region. This is the start of an important investment project that contributes to the development of industry, the agricultural sector, in particular the livestock industry, and the creation of added value in Ukraine," the report says.

The enterprise's products - high-protein feed admixtures and animal fats - are in stable demand in the domestic market and have a high export potential, especially in the EU, Middle East and Asia.

The Ministry of Economy provided the investor with a conclusion on the feasibility of the project. The order on signing the agreement between the state and the investor is in the stage of approval by the central executive authorities. The agreement between the investor and the state will be signed in the nearest future.

Feednova Center - one of Ukraine's largest producers of high-protein feed additives and animal fats, will be the first project in Ukraine, which will receive compensation for the cost of constructed engineering and transport infrastructure already in 2025. The total amount of state support is estimated at UAH 172.1 mln.
