on October 23, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted in the first reading draft law No 14023, which, after its final adoption and entry into force, will cancel the mandatory signing of the Act of Completed Work (ACW). This was reported by Dengi.ua with reference to press service of Ministry of Economy.
In particular, the bill provides that the entrepreneur after the execution of work will form an invoice (invoice) and receive a cashless payment from the customer as confirmation of the service received.
It is noted that for the European Union this is a well-established practice of doing business. At the same time, if necessary, the business can continue to use ATS.
Advantages for business:
- Less paperwork. To receive payment, it is no longer necessary to sign additional acts, an invoice (invoice) and a contract are enough.
- More convenient for companies providing services. In particular, in IT, marketing, consulting, where the work is confirmed by an invoice and the result, rather than a paper act.
- Legally safe. Invoice and contract remain the official documents confirming the fact of services rendered and payment.
However, for public procurement, the rules do not change - acts remain mandatory.
