The SPARTAK Shopping and Entertainment Center hosted the celebration of Malanka — an event that filled the space with lively emotions, music, and the atmosphere of Ukrainian traditions. Bright costumes, folk motifs, and sincere laughter created the feeling of a true celebration, naturally blending into the modern urban environment of the shopping and entertainment center.

During the event, children and adults stopped to watch the performance, took photos, and joined the festive atmosphere. For many visitors, Malanka became an unexpected but pleasant moment in the usual rhythm of the day — an opportunity to pause for a moment and simply enjoy the experience.

As noted by Roksolana Pyrtko, CEO of the SPARTAK Shopping and Entertainment Center, such events are an important part of the center’s approach to working with the community: “We strive to ensure that SPARTAK is not only a place for shopping, but also a space for live emotions, shared moments, and the preservation of Ukrainian traditions. Such celebrations help people feel unity even in challenging times.”

The Malanka celebration became a logical continuation of the series of winter events that SPARTAK is implementing this season. Earlier, the center hosted Christmas activities, including the opening of the Saint Nicholas Residence near the main Christmas tree, as well as preparations for the traditional Christmas Nativity scene.

Roksolana Pyrtko emphasizes that the shopping and entertainment center plans to further develop the format of open festive events, combining modern space with national traditions. Malanka has become another example of how such initiatives create an atmosphere of community and lively dialogue with visitors.
