Ukraine will create a register of banned software. The State Service for Special Communications and Information Protection is working on the relevant draft resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers. The press service of the State Service of Special Communications and Information Protection informed about it.
"The issue of enemy software is very painful. There is a constant mimicry of certain enemy software under domestic or European brands," commented Igor Stelnik, Director of the Department of State Control in the field of information protection and security audit of the administration of CIP Igor Stelnik.
According to him, despite the decision of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, according to which sanctions were applied to a number of Russian web pages and software products, for various reasons not all users have switched to domestic or foreign software.
According to Stelnyk, the recently adopted law No. 4336-IX should solve this problem. It obliged state agencies to use software, except for that which will be included in the register of prohibited software.
"The administration of the State Spetsvyaz now enters the final stage of preparation of the draft decree of the Cabinet, which will regulate the creation and use of the register of prohibited software", - he added.
