Every 10th bottle of juice in the world is made of Ukrainian fruit concentrates, which are produced at the factories of TBF Group. The Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food Vitaliy Koval informed about it.
According to him, TBF Group is a Ukrainian group of companies, which has been specializing in the processing of fruits, vegetables and berries for more than 20 years.
TBF Group have become one of the largest producers of concentrated juices in Europe.
"Every tenth bottle of juice in the world is made from Ukrainian fruit concentrates. The total volume of raw materials processing is about 300 thousand tons per season. The main markets for products are not only retail grocery chains in Ukraine, but also EU countries and the USA", - said the Minister.
In addition, most of the plants are built on the principle of green field. In addition, all plants of the group have a closed cycle of production, which reduces the level of waste to 0%.
Koval said that the owners of TBF Group also opened a plant for the production of bioethanol Westnol. The first line was launched at the end of 2024. The production volume is 4,500 cubic meters of bioethanol per month. The main feedstock is corn grain, with a processing volume of 11,500 tons per month.
The minister added that the company also produces by-products such as dried distillers' grains (DDGS), corn oil, and plans to start production of liquefied CO2.
