Dengi.ua has estimated the total cost of missiles and attack UAVs used by the Russian Federation during the latest combined attack against Ukraine on the basis of data from open sources.
According to data of the AFU Air Force, on the night of June 6, 2025, the aggressor used 452 means of air attack:
- 407 Shahed-type attack UAVs and imitation drones of different types;
- 6 Iskander-M/KN-23 ballistic missiles;
- 36 Kh-101 cruise missiles;
- 2 Iskander-K cruise missiles;
- 1 Kh-31P anti-radar missile.
According to open sources, the Shahed-136/131 strike drones cost from $20,000 to $50,000, with an average of $35,000 per unit. There is a widespread opinion among military experts that about half of the Shaheds that Russia is using for attacks against Ukraine may be "dupes."
If all 407 drones were combat drones, their cost amounted to about $14.2 million. Accordingly, if only half of the Shaheds were combat drones, Russia spent about $7.1 million on them. Thus, the total cost of the used combat UAVs can be estimated at $7.1-14.2 million dollars.
The cost of the Iskander-M/KN-23 ballistic missile is estimated at $3 million, which means that the total amount the enemy "paid" for the missiles of this type fired is $18 million. The Kh-101 missile costs approximately 13 million dollars, which means that the use of 36 such missiles cost the aggressor about 468 million dollars. Iskander-K cruise missile is estimated by experts at 1 million dollars (2 million dollars for 2 pieces), and anti-radar missile Kh-31P - 0.5 million dollars.
Total, if we take into account the above calculations, we can assume that the last massive attack against Ukraine cost the Russian Federation 495.6-502.7 million dollars. According to an estimate Dengi.ua , approximately the same amount will be lost to the Russian federal budget in June 2025 due to a drop in oil revenues.
