As reported AFU Air Force, on the night of June 17, 2025, the Russian army attacked Ukraine with 472 means of air attack:
- 440 Shahed attack UAVs and simulator drones of various types;
- 2 Kh-47 M2 Dagger aeroballistic missiles;
- 16 Kh-101 cruise missiles;
- 4 Kalibr cruise missiles;
- 9 Kh-59/69 guided aviation missiles;
- 1 Kh-31P anti-radar missile.
According to open sources, UAVs of the Shahed 136/131 type cost between $20,000 and $50,000. That is, on average, one drone costs Russia somewhere in the range of $35,000. Military experts note that during air attacks on Ukraine, almost 50% of all Shaheds are imitation drones, the cost of which is insignificant.
Accordingly, if all 440 attack drones were combat drones, their cost may reach $15.4 million. If half of the "Shaheds" are imitation drones, the amount drops to about $7.7 million. Therefore, the total cost of the used UAVs may be $7.7-15.4 million.
One aeroballistic missile Kh-47 M2 "Kinzhal" costs about $10 million, and therefore the launch of 2 means cost Russia $20 million. The cost of cruise missile Kh-101 is estimated at $13 million, respectively, for the use of 16 pieces the aggressor spent $208 million. Cruise missile "Kalibr" costs $6.5 million - that is, $26 million for 4 pieces. In turn, Kh-59/69 and Kh-31P missiles cost $500 thousand per unit. Thus, the total amount of 10 missiles used is $5 million.
Taking into account the above calculations, we can assume that the last combined strike on Ukraine cost Russia $266.7-274.4 million.
