Banks in Ukraine continue to reduce the number of branches and transfer customer service to the online format. This is reported by Dengi.ua with reference to data of the National Bank.
As of July 1, 2025, there were 4,934 structural units of banks in Ukraine, which is 77 less than at the beginning of the year. In addition, another 812 branches are in the status of "temporarily stopped".
The state-owned Oschadbank has the largest number of branches - 1,147 (-3), but the work of its 622 branches has been suspended. In second place is PrivatBank with 1102 (-5) operating branches and 65 temporarily closed.
Next in terms of the number of branches are:
- Raiffeisen Bank - 321 branches (-4).
- PUMB - 219 (-4).
- UkrSibbank - 218 (0).
According to the NBU, a total of 60 banks were operating in Ukraine as of the beginning of July.
