In April 2025 Ukraine increased imports of bitumen by 18% compared to the previous month - up to 6 thousand tons. The growth of supplies is associated with the intensification of road works in the country. This is evidenced by the data of Consulting Group "A-95", reports Enkorr .

The largest volumes of bitumen came from Poland - 4.8 thousand tons, as well as from Lithuania - 1.9 thousand tons. The main supplier was Orlen, which provided 83% of all supplies - 4.98 thousand tons. Unimot Bitumen exported 0.91 thousand tons of products to Ukraine.

Also, 90 tons of bitumen was imported from Romania. The supplier was Vitaro Energy.

In total, 13.5 thousand tons of bitumen were imported to Ukraine in the first four months of 2025 - it is 17% less than in the same period of 2024. Experts call the main reason for this a decrease in funding.

For 2025, the state budget provides 12.6 billion UAH for the repair of areas important for defense and functioning of the state economy, which is 26% less than last year.
