In 8 months of 2025, Ukraine's trade turnover amounted to $78.9 billion. In January-August, the country imported $52.6 billion worth of goods and exported $26.3 billion. informs State Customs Service, as Dengi.ua .
According to the STS, while taxable imports amounted to $40.0 billion, which is 76% of the total volume of imported goods.
The countries from which most imported goods to Ukraine were: China - $11.6 billion, Poland - $5 billion, Germany - $4.2 billion.
In the total volumes of imported goods in January-August 2025, 68% were the following categories:
- machinery, equipment and transportation - $20.7 billion;
- chemical industry products - $8.3 billion;
- fuel and energy - $6.7 billion.
Exported from Ukraine most of all to Poland - $3.3 billion, Turkey - $2 billion, Germany - $1.5 billion.
The top three most exported goods from Ukraine were:
- food products - $14.6 billion;
- metals and metal products - $3 billion;
- machinery, equipment and transportation - $2.5 billion.
