About 25% of IT-specialists in Ukraine receive a salary of $1000-$2000 per month. Approximately half of IT specialists left in Ukraine have an income up to $3000. At the same time, the level of earnings over $6000 is typical for only 9% of Ukrainian IT workers. This is stated in the study DOU .

It is noted that specialists who moved abroad usually have higher incomes. This is due to the fact that during the full-scale invasion, higher-paid specialists were more likely to leave. Only 35% of those outside the country have salaries up to $3,000, while over $6,000 is earned by 19%.

There remains a significant pay gap between technical and non-technical IT workers. In Ukraine, 65% of non-technical specialists earn no more than $2000, while among technical specialists this figure is only 33%. Among specialists abroad, 43% of non-technical and 16% of technical specialists have such salaries.

Only 1% of non-technical workers in Ukraine earn more than $6000, while abroad this figure is 6%. Only 15% of non-technical specialists earn more than $3000 in Ukraine.

According to analysts, the highest salaries are for IT workers who went to the USA. Thus, 26% of them receive more than $10,000 per month. In Europe and Ukraine itself such salaries are very rare: they are received by only 1% to 3% of specialists, depending on the country.

IT workers who moved to Canada also have high incomes - 24% of them earn more than $6000 "net", and 6% of them earn more than $10 000. However, these numbers are still lower than in the US.

In Europe, the highest salaries are seen among IT workers who moved to the UK, Spain, Portugal, Croatia and Slovakia. About 20% of them have more than $6000 salaries.

In such countries as Germany, Romania, Bulgaria and Czech Republic the share of IT specialists with income above $6000 is approximately the same as in Ukraine - from 9% to 14%.
