In the first half of 2025, Ukraine's trade turnover amounted to $58.3 billion. In January-June, the country imported $38.3 billion worth of goods, while exports amounted to $20 billion. reported State Customs Service, according to Dengi.ua .
At the same time, taxable imports amounted to $28.9 billion, which is 76% of the total volume of imported goods.
Most of all imported goods to Ukraine from China - $8.2 billion, Poland - $3.5 billion, Germany - $3.2 billion. Exported from Ukraine most of all to Poland - $2.4 billion, Turkey - $1.7 billion, Italy - $1.2 billion.
In the total volumes of imported goods in January-June 2025, 68% were the following categories:
- machinery, equipment and transport - $14.8 billion; during customs clearance of these goods, UAH 93.4 billion was paid to the budget, which is 29% of customs payments receipts;
- chemical industry products - $6.2 billion; UAH 48.5 billion was paid to the budget, which makes up 15% of customs revenues;
- fuel and energy products - $4.9 billion; UAH 87.9 billion was paid to the budget, which is 27% of customs payments.
The top three most exported goods from Ukraine were:
- food products - $11.2 billion;
- metals and metal products - $2.3 billion;
- machinery, equipment and transportation - $1.9 billion.
For 6 months of 2025 during customs clearance of exports of goods for which the export duty is established, UAH 137.6 million was paid to the budget.
