According to the updated data of the Polish government, approximately 1.55 million citizens of Ukraine currently live in the country. At the same time, Ukrainians more often choose the central, western and southern regions of the country.

1st place. Mazowieckie Voivodeship: Warsaw remains the main point of attraction
Mazowieckie Voivodeship is the leader in terms of the number of Ukrainians, where 22% of the Ukrainian diaspora live. The main center of attraction is Warsaw, which offers a wide range of opportunities: from employment and decent salaries to social benefits and adaptation programs.
2nd place. Lower Silesia Voivodship: Wrocław attracts with its infrastructure and openness
The second place is occupied by the Lower Silesia Voivodship with its administrative center in Wroclaw. 12% of Ukrainian citizens live here. The city stands out for its developed urban environment, positive attitude of its inhabitants to migrants and high standard of living.
3rd place. Wielkopolskie Voivodeship: sustainable development and economic prospects
The third position is occupied by the Wielkopolskie Voivodeship, where Poznan is located. About 11% of Ukrainians live here. The city is characterized by a stable economic situation and attractive conditions for labor migration.
4-5 places. Małopolskie and Silesian Voivodeships: southern regions with high demand
9% of Ukrainians live in the Małopolskie Voivodeship centered in Kraków and in the Silesian Voivodeship with the administrative center in Katowice. These southern regions are interesting for migrants due to the presence of higher education institutions, developed economy and business activity.

The choice of places of residence in Poland is largely determined by economic and social factors.
